June 6th 2009 - I still didn't find the time to finish the new update but today the newest issue of our little fanzine CREEPY*IMAGES has been released!

December 17th 2009 - Today's update is the largest ever on classic-movieposters.de. I have added more that 440 items to the website - among these are a whole lot of rare and hard to find lobbysets, posters and single lobby cards. I'd also like to wish all of you a merry christmas ans a happy new year. Have fun with the new items!

April 30th 2009 - The new update came a bit later than planned, but therefore includes lots of really rare and hard to find items. Among the highlights are an Austrian 1rst-release 1sheet from Terence Fisher's THE MUMMY, 5 lobby cards from the 1951's release of James Whales FRANKENSTEIN, 1rst-release cards from THIS ISLAND EARTH, complete German lobby set from GRIM REAPER and TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and much more. And finally the 1rst issue of our little magazine CREEPY IMAGES is finally available.

Dec. 30rd 2008 - I have just added 301 new items (with a focus on rare lobby cards and lobby sets) and I'm pretty sure, that this will be the last update for this year ;-) I hope you enjoy it and wish a happy new year.

Oct. 31rst 2008 - Today is not only the 3rd anniversary of this small website - it's also time for an update. I have added more than 350 new movie posters, single lobby cards and complete lobby sets to the website. The new items include posters like House of Usher (German 1rst-release), Horror of Dracula (Arg. stonelitho), three different posters for Cannibal Holocaust, French 1panel for the theatrical release of the Avengers from the Emma Peel era. Of course there are also a lot of lobby cards and complete lobby sets like Maniac (very rare German cards), Vengeance of the Mummy (complete Spanish Set), Let sleeping Corpses lie, Grim Reaper and many more. And I have added a new feature to the site: Instead of showing (and loading) all items of a catalog-category, you will only find 75 item on each site and an additional navigationbar to browse through all pages of a catgory. This makes the site a lot faster that it used to be.

June 26th 2008 - Light on for the biggest update on classic-movieposters.de ever! I've added more than 500 (!!!) posters, lobbysets, single lobbycards and pressbooks to the database. Among the new items are sought after Lobbysets like ZOMBIE (German), NEW YORK RIPPER (German), HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY (GERMAN), TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (French), EVIL DEAD (French), very cool sigle Lobbycards like 20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH, DRACULA (Lugosi), GRIM REAPER etc. But you've got to be patient when looking on the new items - they really need some time to load, but that will be changed with the next update.

April 15th 2008 - This time I was faster than ever with the new update and added 220 new items to the website. Among a lot of (handcolored) lobbycards are rare 1rst-release posters for movies like: Phantom of the Opera, Abbott and Costello meer Frankenstein, Monster on Campus, Curucu etc.

March 9th 2008 - Today the site get a very special update: The site you are looking at is a totally new version of classic-movieposters.de! Even if it looks pretty much than the older version of the website it has a completely new database-structure that allows me to include features, that would have been impossible to realize in the old version. Some of those are already built in - other will follow with the next updates. Of course there are also a lot of new items on the site - more than 350 movieposters and lobbycards, including a lot of rare items.

Jun. 3rd 2007 - When i sent out the last newsletter about 5 months ago I told you, that I don't know if I will have enough time to continue with this little site but after thinking everything over again and changing a lot of details of the database-software I guess I'm "back in business". In other words: everything will go on, but on a little smaller basis (lesser update, to as much items a before). The new Update contains 170 new items - some of them being extremly rare and special. I hope you like them ;-)

Jan. 9th 2007 - Update! Today I've added nearly 290 new lobbycards and posters to the website and I've also added a new feature: items that were sold out but came back in stock are from now on also listed under "new" which makes it much easier for those who are looking for an item they have missed in the past. Have fun with the new stuff!

Sept. 25th 2006 - this time I've added nearly 350 new items - among them lots of rare 50s and 60s lobbycards. Have fun ;-)

August, 2nd 2006 - as promised the new update didn't take as long as the last ones and I've added about 250 new items to the database. For the first time the update also includes quiet a lot of pressbooks and campaignbooks (mainly from Germany and France) - have fun ;-).

June 20th 2006 - today I've added the biggest update to the website so far: more than 350 new items, as usual ranging from classic hammer-horror to italian splatter. This time I've also added some arthouse-titles. For the future I'm planning to make updates every 4-6 weeks with a little less items per update.

And there's also a new site-feature: most of the new items come with a third extralarge picture. Just klick on the zoom-button to see a 500pixel wide pic of the item.

April 11th 2006 - with more than 300 new items the site now features more than 1.000 Posters, single lobbycards and complete lobbysets. The update includes various classic like Hitchcocks Marnie, different memorabilia for the horrorcomedy Munsters go home as well as lobbies and posters for late 70s/early 80s splattermovies like Burial Ground, William Lustig's Maniac and Joe D'Amato's Grim-Reaper and Beyond the Darkness, just to name a few.

Feb 19th 2006 - today we finished this years first major update with nearly 250 new horrormovie-items from the 50s to the early 80s such as the very rare German 1rst release 1sheet for Romeros Night of the living dead, a complete italian fotobusta-set for Bood for Dracula along with a lots of other interessting collectorsitems ranging from Hammer-Horror to Vincent Price.

Dec 15th 2005 - Today's update includes more than 130 items. Lots of lobbycards and posters from classic Hammer-Horror like the great French Curse of the Werwolf or the rare German 1st-release poster for Hound of the Baskervilles to some rare and cool splatter-stuff.

And we've also installed a guestbook finally ;-)

Oct 31th 2005 - Today is Halloween - a great days to launch the site ;-) In the meantime we have listet more than 500 horror-movie-posters and lobby cards and we are still listing more items week by week..

Oct 11th 2005 - until now we've inserted more than 300 lobbycards from horrormovies from the 50s to the early 80s. Besides the German cards we've also listed some great french and spanish lobbies (look out for the Spanisch Paul Naschy items ;-). We've also included our newsletter-service.
